Information and Class Policies

Register Early

Although you may join classes at any time throughout the programme, you are encouraged to register early since class sizes are limited and may fill quickly. Registering before classes are scheduled to begin also ensures your child’s required ‘At Home Materials’ are ready for you at your first class.

Make-up Classes

Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather. You will be notified of the cancellation and the scheduled make-up day.

Non-enrolled Siblings

For age-determined programmes, it is ideal for a parent to bring only the enrolled child(ren) to class in order to give full attention to that child and fully participate in class. Emergency exceptions are considered; please call your teacher in advance for approval.

Free Visits

At certain times throughout each programme, I am happy to schedule free visits to classes for prospective families and friends of those families currently enrolled in class. Please call me on 01904 655024 for availability.

Refund Policies

Refunds may be requested due to an unexpected family move or serious illness necessitating withdrawal from class. I regret that refunds cannot be offered for opened ‘At Home Materials’ or non-attendance at individual class sessions. In some situations a credit voucher for a future session of classes may be given instead of a cash refund . Any refund requests will be considered on an individual basis.

Payment can be made in full at the time of registration or in two installments.

Early Bird Discount

For all standard 9 and 18 week programmes there is a discount applicable (£3/£6) if registration and payment is made three weeks before the class start date. This discount is only on the full amount or first installment.

Late Fees

Fees that are over one week late would mean you and your child would be unable to attend that and any future session.

Sibling Discount

If you register child and their sibling/s in the same Kindermusik programme (excluding 'Family Time’) and purchase the ‘At Home Materials’ you are eligible for a 25% discount on one child’s tuition fee. If you register them both in Kindermusik programmes but their age determines different groups you will receive 10% discount on both children's tuition fees. To receive the sibling discount, payment should be in full; installments are not possible.

When to Arrive

Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class is due to start. If you are late please join the class as quietly as possible to avoid disruption.

What to Bring

We encourage you and your child to participate in the class without your shoes on - barefoot is best! Please dress appropriately – remember, there is a fair amount of movement, so casual, comfortable clothing. Please try not bring a lot of things to class; toys and drinking cups can be a distraction; however, if you are attending the Village class, you will need a changing bag for baby and a towel, blanket or mat.
